Fractured Online Rolls Out Endgame Changer Update After A 24-Hour Delay
Fractured Online’s big Endgame Changer update rolled out earlier today after roughly a days’ delay due to last-minute backend issues. According to Dynamight Studios CEO Jacopo Gallelli, they had to rebuild a component that was necessary for fortresses to function correctly which took them the entire night to complete.
“[…] Deploying Endgame Changer required us to rebuild a key component of our server infrastructure, which manages what server process controls what portion of the world,” Gallelli reported. on Discord. “Specifically, we had to rebuild this component because of fortresses. […] Sorry once again for the delay. It took us several hours to figure out the engine issue […] and a few more to fix it and test it.”
The Endgame Changer update is now live and marks the open-world MMORPG’s first major update since its Steam relaunch in November. As you can probably guess from the update’s tile, it introduces a whole host of balance tweaks and changes to endgame content, UI improvements, progression updates, PvP buffs, potions, and new mounts.
It's official: the first major update to Fractured Online will be live on February 21, 2024! Check out the first of multiple video previews:https://t.co/Zr3zNUx2If
