Albion Online Sets New All-Time Concurrency Record After European Server Launch

History repeats itself as Albion Europe server late last month. The last time that the PvP sandbox MMORPG set a new all-time high was shortly after Albion East (now known as Albion Asia) opened its doors sending its peak concurrency count to roughly 300,000 players. It’s now blown past that as Sandbox Interactive reports a new peak concurrency record of 358,000 players.

“Since the launch of Albion Europe on April 29, player numbers in Albion have been soaring. And on May 1, the game ed a new milestone with 350,000 daily active s,” the studio reported. “This makes the launch of the new server one of the most momentous events in the game’s history, with Albion Europe alone ing for over 150,000 players daily.”

Albion Online also set a new all-time concurrency record on Steam on the same day, peaking at just over 27,000 players and breaking the previous record by roughly 5,000 players. Concurrency numbers on Steam have also doubled since Albion Europe’s launch and is currently holding steady at around 23,000 players at any given time.
