Albion Online Officially Opens Its New European Server To Founder’s Pack Owners

Albion Online’s new European server is officially open for business as Sandbox Interactive starts letting founder’s pack owners in. Crystal and Gold pack owners can now begin their adventures in the new fresh start regional server, with Silver pack owners set to follow on April 26, Bronze pack owners on April 28, and everyone else on April 29.

All progress from here on end will no longer be wiped and will carry over to Albion Europe’s free-to-play launch. To ensure healthy player density, maps will be smaller compared to those in the Albion Americas and Asia servers. Some zones, particularly those in the Outlands and Roads of Avalon, will be covered in unable fog for the time being and will be opened up as the population grows after the free-to-play launch.

“We anticipate Albion Europe to grow over time, just as Albion Asia did after it got its own server,” says Sandbox Interactive. “[…] To make this start a smooth and exciting experience for everyone, we are taking a couple of precautionary measures to make sure everyone has a good gameplay experience.”

The team also stocked up the Marketplace with various items like mules, carrot soups, and bean salads, as well as a limited amount of crystal shards. They’ve also purchased mid-tier crafting plots in royal cities with plans to put down crafting stations as the need arises. Note that territory prime times and crystal timers will also be different on Albion Europe to for the time difference. You can check out the official schedule on the Albion Online official forums.
