Respawn Entertainment Is Working On A New Apex Legends Single-Player Game

For a battle royale game, Apex Legends characters have a remarkable depth to them which makes for a good foundation for a separate story-driven spinoff or even an MMO. Respawn Entertainment is apparently more keen on the former as its now begun hiring developers to work a new single-player first-person shooter adventure set in the Apex Legends universe called the Apex Universe FPS Incubation Project.

Titanfall fans, however, are hoping that the project name is just a ploy to throw the community off the scent of Titanfall 3 since the popular battle royale is technically set in the Titanfall universe. Details are a bit scarce at the moment but we’ll let you know as soon as more substantial information comes up.
