ARK Survival Evolved Confirms Official Server Closures And Final Snapshot On September 29
ARK Survival Evolved is nearing the end of its life to be replaced by the ARK Survival Ascended remaster in October. The original game’s servers will officially be shutting down on September 29th at 5 p.m. PDT which is also when the servers will get their final snapshots. The save snapshots will be shared on October 5th and will allow players to continue their progress in private after the servers are taken offline.
Meanwhile, Studio Wildcard has announced the winner of its ARK Survival Ascended creature-design contest. The winning entry is a massive terrestrial battleship aptly-called the Dreadnoughtus which will be one of the creatures inhabiting the Extinction map when it comes out sometime next year.
ARK Survival Ascended itself will be launching into early access this October.
