Atom Fishing 2 Is A Post-Apocalyptic Fishing Simulator
Of all the MMOs I've encountered, I've never seen one quite as memorably bizarre as Atom Fishing 2. It is a post-apocalyptic fishing simulator with a dash of survival gameplay for good measure. I'm not entirely sure how it plays, as info is fairly scarce beyond a few tutorial videos that are in Russian, but the Steam Greenlight page describes it as a game much like other MMOs; players take on quests, develop their characters over time, improve their current tackle or craft entirely new tackle, and "unravel the mysteries of this world." Oh, and there are mutant fish.
It's a curious game and, while it is currently available only in Russian, it's important to note that this oddball title is a sequel. It is the second game in the Atom Fishing series, meaning that the first one had to be at least nominally successful.
If you'd like to give Atom Fishing 2 a try, you can it from the official website. If you do happen to it, be sure to share some of the fish you catch in the comments!
