BitCraft Confirms Closed Alpha Start Date And Starts Using Permanent Player s

Clockwork Labs is taking a big step in BitCraft’s development as the studio begins using actual player s in preparation for the sandbox MMORPG’s closed alpha tests. It’s also locked in April 2 as the start date for the playtest and has begun handing out the “secret item” that it promised its pre-alpha backers now that permanent player s are live.

“With this new phase of development, we will be moving from our previous system to a permanent -based system,” Clockwork announced. “This new system will allow us to assign items, titles, and other assets to individual s and players. Notably, this new system manages the distribution over the next few days of the “secret item” we promised our ers during the Pre-Alpha period.

Clockwork is still accepting s for the closed alpha test. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get access to the Alpha Hub and a minigame where you’ll be able to complete various tasks like ing the BitCraft Discord or following the game on social media. Completing the tasks will earn you points that you can exchange for exclusive in-game rewards. The minigame won’t affect your chances of getting an invite so you can opt to just wait and see if you receive one.

The studio also dropped a new gameplay trailer that promises “a proper look” at the community-driven sandbox title.
