Drakensang Online Transitions To Full Release On Steam, Opens New Fresh Start Server

When Bigpoint Games has finally confirmed that the game officially made the leap as of last week.

To mark the classic isometric MMORPG’s launch on Steam, the developers have opened up a brand-new server to give everyone a chance to start from scratch and on equal footing with everybody else. The team is also hosting a Heroes Assemble event that will rewards players with powerful weapons, items, and gear to help get them off to a running start.

reviews on Steam, however, currently sit at “Mixed” with some players praising its old-school MMORPG gameplay as others complain about the major changes made as part of December 2020’s Dark Legacy expansion and its reportedly pay-to-win microtransactions.

Bigpoint also promised another expansion coming later this year, which will hopefully be better received by the community. In the meantime, you can now play the game on Steam and start off on equal footing with other players in the brand-new Harold server.
