Dungeon Fighter Online’s December Update Brings New Dungeon, Character Renewals, & More

The latest update for Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) delivers fresh challenges and sweeping improvements with Season 8 Act 7. The update itself launched earlier this month on Dec 3. Players can dive into the Forest of Awakening Legion Dungeon, explore revamped character skills, and enjoy smoother equipment progression thanks to the removal of the Equipment Growth System. Packed with events and balance updates, this December patch offers both new and returning players plenty to experience in the action-packed world of Arad.

New Legion Dungeon: Forest of Awakening

• Purify the Forest of Awakening, where players must prevent plague energy from corrupting the Sacred Beasts' Place of Birth and Death.
• Earn Fusion Stone Equipment and materials to enhance your gear using the new Fusion Stone Imprint System.

Fusion Stone Imprint System

• Strengthen Fusion Stones with this new enhancement system.
• Safe Imprinting: Players can revert to previous states if results don’t meet expectations, eliminating the frustration of starting over.

Equipment Growth System Removal

• Say goodbye to option level grinding! The update removes the Equipment Growth System, streamlining progression for both equipment and characters.

Character Renewals and Balance Patch

• Exorcist and Crusader (M) advancements receive major skill overhauls, empowering players to unleash divine fury like never before.

Purge of Sacred Beasts’ Forest

While Dungeon Fighter Online isn't particularly successful in the West, the game is an absolute smash hit in China where it has earned over $1 billion a year. The global English version on the other hand averages just 155 players on Steam.
