EVE: Valkyrie Gets Its First Ground-Based Map In The Groundrush Update

EVE: Valkyrie's fifth free major update, "Groundrush," is here and it is bringing with it the game's first ground-based map. Previously, all of the VR space combat game's maps had capsuleers fighting exclusively in space, but, with the release of this update, players get a chance to go planetside and fight on a new map called "Solitude." Solitude is set within "the craggy face of a remote planet" and it will challenge players' ability to fly with "fully playable interior and exterior spaces."

The update also introduces "weirder and wilder permutations" to the weekly Wormhole events. Both the Carrier Assault and Control modes can now be played by co-op players. Additionally, if you own EVE: Valkyrie on Steam, you can now play it using a Steam Controller.
