EverQuest's 30th Expansion "Laurion's Song" Available Now
Whil EverQuest helped popularize the MMORPG genre over 20 years ago back in 1999, the game is far from dead and is still releasing expansions regularly. The game's 30th expansion, titled "Laurion's Song", officially launched yesterday and with it comes new areas for players to explore as well as several new features including:
- Increased level cap to 125
- Alternate Personas (ability to switch to another class while keeping the same njame, inventory, bank, crafting skills, and more. Similar to Final Fantasy XIV's classing system)
- New Items
- New Raids
- New Missions / Quests
- New Spells
- New Alternative Advancements
- and more!

While the base game of EverQuest is free to play, expansions do cost money and a subscription is required for serious play. Still, anyone can give the game a chance entirely for free.
