Final Fantasy XI Announces The Return Of Starlight Celebration On December 15
Final Fantasy XI is bringing the holiday cheer to Vana’diel as the pseudo-maintenance mode MMORPG brings back Starlight Celebration next weekend. As part of the holiday event, goblins will be returning with their loot of stolen moogle presents, as they’ve done over the past 20 years or so, and it’ll once again be up to you to get them back.
“The moogles are all in a tizzy—goblins have filched some of their most prized presents and furnishings! Have mercy on the little fluff balls and wrest them back for the good of Vana'diel! But don't go unprepared—speak to moogles in the following locations to hear all about this most devious of plots.”
It will basically be a re-run of previous Starlight Celebration events and will feature the same collection of minigames but with a new Leaf Bench sitting emote up for grabs. Players will also be able to purchase Starlight Celebration-themed items, Orchestrion furnishing crafting materials, and sheet music items for the duration of the event.
Starlight Celebration 2023 kicks off on December 15th and will run until December 31st. Event details can be found on the Final Fantasy XI official site.
