Frozen Flame Moves Its New Survival Mode From A Separate Beta To The Live Build
After putting Frozen Flame’s new Cataclysm survival mode through its paces with an open beta test, Dreamside Interactive is now moving on to the next phase of its testing by introducing the new game mode into the live early access build.
In this new mode, players are faced with a world completely different from the Arcana that they’ve gotten acquainted with in story mode. They'll be thrown into a beautiful yet treacherous terrain surrounded by water and floating islands, and will need to select one of three Orders to increase their chances of survival in the Frozen Desert, a frigid realm shrouded in blizzards and limited visibility.
But it's not just the harsh elements you'll have to watch out for. Competing Orders must face off against each other and fend off dangerous monsters to secure valuable resources for upgrades. With no building or flying allowed, it's essential to rely on teamwork to boost your chances of survival. The ultimate goal is to find a way out of the realm and defeat the Dragon, the mastermind behind the destruction.
In addition to the new game mode, the update also brings a brand-new map and new ways for players to interact with each other through combat or trading. It also introduces various combat improvements that enhance the game’s overall balance and responsiveness, as well as the ability to fertilize seed beds and to speed up while flying.
