Game of War Replaces Kate Upton With Mariah Carey

After plastering both the digital and real world with images of Kate Upton in warrior-princess garb, Game of War studio Machine Zone has decided to push aside their buxom front girl in favor of a fresh face. Pop singer Mariah Carey appeared in a new commercial for Game of War: Fire Age on September 14, 2015 where she used a combination of her singing and a magical crossbow to bring down a dragon.

Pictures of scantily clad women have been used to promote strategy games for years now, with the browser based game Evony really getting the trend started back in 2009. Its only with the massive revenue that mobile games are able to generate that we have started to see prime time TV ads of the same sort. I still prefer the Kate Upton ads, but you be the judge!
