Guild Wars 2 Visions Of The Past: Steel And Fire Episode Is Now Live
December 2019. Well, the new Living World episode is finally live on the servers today, bringing with it a new type of Living World content that will give players additional insight into Ryland Steelcatcher and his Steel Warband.
“It’s time to go back. Revisit epic encounters and see events through different eyes in the Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire update. the ranks of the Steel Warband and fight along Ryland Steelcatcher, then play as Ryland himself to explore Darkrime Delves. Plus, tackle four story missions from Living World Season 1—replayable for the first time!”
The update itself also introduces Strike Missions into the game along with new Legendary Trinkets, Steel Warband weapon skins, and the new Eye of the North hub. “To access the Eye of the North upgradeable hub, you must own Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire,” says ArenaNet. “Even if you haven’t unlocked or played ‘Shadow in the Ice,’ you’ll receive a letter inviting you to the Eye of the North—but please be aware that the environment contains spoilers for The Icebrood Saga so far. All strike missions released to date are now accessible from the Eye of the North, regardless of which episodes of The Icebrood Saga you’ve unlocked.”
