Learn About PvP In Revelation Online
As part of its constant content-hype drip, Revelation Online has released a new post detailing how to PvP in its world, part 1. World PvP begins at level 40, and it's a war against all. But, if a player attacks another player who just finished reading Tolstoy—they don't attack back—that player will receive a Killer mark. And if a player with a Killer mark is killed there's a chance they will drop some of their gear.
Opportunity to fight in an open world is actively used not only by players looking for some spice in their life but also by large guilds while hunting world bosses carrying valuable loot. Opponents’ spawn points often host battles for hours on end, turning locations into battle arenas.
Beyond Open World PvP, there is also Arenas and Battlegrounds, also exclusive to level 40+ characters.
Arenas are 3v3 battles, while battlehgrounds come in 3 flavors: 10v10, 20v20, 30v30. Interesting enough, 10v10 battles are held in their own spcecially catered PvPvE zone, and last for 30 minutes or until one team earns 100 points by beating other players senselessly along with an assortment of monsters to earn points.
Whereas 20v20 and 30v30 are a King of the Hill game mode, where holding objectives is the key to victory.
And lastly, you can choose to fight alone in 1v1 matches. Survive 10 rounds and you earn "a unique Death title... it will be they who receive the title and the glory of the champion." Oh, okay. I always wanted to rekindle my teenage nihilism by calling myself "Death."
Revelation Online just ended its CBT2 and we're My.com's plans are next.
