MapleStory Brings Back Strawberry Farm Event As New Server Selection Screen Goes Live

MapleStory players a taste of spring as the Strawberry Farm Festival update lands on the classic 2D MMORPG’s servers. The update kicks off the annual Spiegelette’s Strawberry Farm event for another round of begrudging labor on the titular farm in exchange for various strawberry-themed items and gear.

Before you can make your way to the farm, obviously you’ll need to first which is when you’ll notice that the world selection screen is sporting a brand-new look. “We’ve redesigned the World Selection Screen to display the world groups in a way that is more intuitive,” says Nexon. Servers are now grouped according to their respective rulesets: Interactive, Heroic, and Seasonal.

The update also tweaks Sacred Power Hunting Zones and kicks off the Burning World Leap event, allowing players to transfer their Burning-boosted characters to a server of their choice. It also lays the groundwork for the Gold Richie’s Safe event which will be returning to the ancient side-scrolling game for more safe-cracking fun on March 6.

Details can be found in the full patch notes here. Fun fact: Strawberries are planted in early spring and are ripe for picking by early summer through early fall. You can file that for the next time you need strawberry-related trivia.
