MMOs Celebrate Star Wars Day With Boosts, Themed Items, And A Live DJ Party Hosted By C3PO

It’s Star Wars Day and MMOs are celebrating one of the most influential pop culture icons in the galaxy with their own Star Wars-themed events. Here’s what’s happening:

Star Wars Galaxies rogue server, Star Wars Galaxies Legends is offering double boosts on everything. SWG Legends is also inviting players to The Hyperspace Hoopla, a live DJ party with iconic Star Wars characters hosted by C3PO with various mini-games such as C3PO Says!, a Star Wars Galaxies trivia, a costume competition, and a fireworks display at Jabba’s Place to cap it all off.

AdventureQuest 3D also s the celebration with their annual May the Fourth event featuring a game-wide monster hunt and parody items including a “ridiculously oversized Black Samurai-looking Dark Lord helm.”

Fortnite players can grab a lightsaber of different colors and dress up as either Rey, Kylo Ren, or Sith Troopers for a limited time. The Star Wars event runs until May 5th so jump into the game if you want to get your Star Wars fix.

Shroud of the Avatar is offering Star Wars-themed store items and daily rewards including the Sith-like Dark Shogun Armor, the Electric Sword Training Orb Pet, Electric Sword Training Helmet, and the Blue Electric Katana (also available in pink, green, and red, from the Crown Store).
