MultiVersus Concludes Open Beta Test And Goes Offline Until Next Year’s Launch

Shaggy, Batman, Rick and Morty, and the rest of the MultiVersus cast will be taking an extended break from pummeling each other as the Warner Bros. multiplayer brawler concludes its open beta test. Yes, that’s not a typo. While most open betas are typically regarded as an official release and continue up until launch, it’s still technically a testing phase.

Don’t worry though, Player First Games will be bringing the game back online alongside the game’s full release next year. In the meantime, you’ll still be able to access offline content such as training rooms and local matches as long as you’ve already ed and patched the game.

Unfortunately, refunds won’t be issued for purchases made since the game’s open beta launch but you’ll regain full access to all your purchases on relaunch. How the full release version will be different from the open beta one remains to be seen.

Attention, MVPs: Reminder that on June 25 at 5pm PT, MultiVersus online features will be disabled as our Open Beta concludes.
