Blizzard has begun turning the fine-tuning knobs in game-changing Season 9 update.

In case you missed the news, the PvP hero shooter’s latest competitive season introduced sweeping gameplay changes including bigger health pools, ive healing for all heroes, and a revamped competitive mode. Now that the team has had time to gather data on each hero’s post-update performance, it’s time for the tweaking to begin.

The latest balance touches on several of the PvP shooter’s heroes, including nerfs to the damage reduction granted by Roadhog’s Take a Breather skill as well as Illari’s Captive Sun and Healing Pylon abilities. Zenyatta’s hit points have also been reduced along with adjustments to the projectile size, speed, and behavior for D.Va, Lucio, Hanzo, and several other heroes.

We can likely expect more of the same as we progress further into the season. For now, you can dive into the details of the latest balance on the Overwatch 2 official site.
