Runes Of Magic Kicks Off 15th Anniversary Event And Explosive ‘Festive Artillery’ Minigame
Runes of Magic is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a new minigame that drops you into the driver’s seat of a “festive artillery vehicle” to blow goblins to smithereens. The minigame can be accessed by speaking to any of the three goblin NPCs located in the Howling Mountains in Logar, Silverspring in Varanas City, and the Thunderhoof Hills in Dalanis.
“When the minigame starts, the player will be put into a Festive Artillery Vehicle,” developer Runewaker Entertainment explains. “From here it is the objective to eliminate as many goblins as possible in the given timeframe and with the Skills that this special mount has. The more points the players can gather, the better the rank and reward is in the end. But the player has to be careful, some goblins will remove points when eliminated.”
Completing the minigame will reward players with event currency that they can use to purchase a variety of exclusive items including the Festive Artillery Vehicle mount. Players will also be able to earn more rewards from a long list of returning in-game events, all of which will be available until March 30.
