TERA 64-bit Client And New 20-Man Raid Coming In Next Week’s Update
TERA 64-bit client for TERA which promises a smoother gameplay experience and less crashes. According to the devs, the new client will also open up new possibilities for developing future content for the fantasy MMORPG.
“The 64-bit client update will enhance the gameplay experience in every way while also allowing us as developers to better realize our vision of the perfect TERA experience. This has been a long time in the making, and we’ve worked very hard to bring it to you. We thank you for your patience and invite you to look forward to more diverse and robust content once the 64-bit client environment has been implemented.”
The update is scheduled to roll out on August 11th. Switching to a 64-bit client, however, means that the minimum and recommended system requirements will also be increasing. You’ll find the new specs needed to run the game after the 64-bit update below:

A new 20-player weekend-only raid will also be launching alongside the 64-bit update featuring the First Corps Commander, Maknakh. The new boss will come with new skills and surprises that will challenge even the most experienced players. A new 5-player version of Rift’s Edge and a revamped version of the Rampaging RK-9 Kennel will also be returning with the update.
