Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Release Date And Other Big PlayStation Showcase 2021 Reveals
Last week’s PlayStation Showcase 2021 digital event saw several big game announcements and a boatload of awesome new PlayStation 5 game trailers for some of the most highly-awaited titles, including the Star Wars: Knights of the Republic Remake, God of War: Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2, Gran Turismo 7, and a new Wolverine game.
Among those announcements is the official release date for Gearbox Software’s Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The D&D-inspired Borderlands looter shooter spin-off will be launching on March 25 on Sony’s next-gen console as well as on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the official gameplay reveal trailer below.
One of the major announcements during the show was the Star Wars: Knights of the Republic Remake. The next-gen remake has been rumored to be in development for some time now but was only confirmed when Sony Interactive Entertainment opened the digital event with the official trailer for the game. Unfortunately, aside for a confirmed PS5 launch sometime in the future, there’s not much we know about the Star Wars game.
Insomniac Games also revealed that they’re currently working on Spider-Man 2, featuring Venom, which will be launching in 2023 and, the biggest surprise of the show, a new Wolverine game.
Sony also debuted its first-ever God of War: Ragnarok trailer during the event, along with a host of new game trailers from various developers, including the next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, Forspoken, the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Remastered Collection, the Alan Wake remaster, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and capping it all off is the new Gran Turismo 7 trailer and release date announcement. You’ll find all of those right after the jump.
