While at gamescom, World of Tanks additions and changes. There are some predictable answers, such as no new vehicle types being planned and more tanks being planned for next year, albeit not as many as this year had, but there are some more interesting bits of news as well.

Player versus environment content may make its way to World of Tanks. The developers have stated that it is a bit early to tell yet, as it is in testing, and offer no details of the kind of PvE we might see, but it is being planned out.

Multi-core processing and DirectX 11 and 12 are currently being worked on. No estimate has been given for when these will be introduced but perhaps they will ease some players' performance issues that have been introduced as of late. The Havok Engine will also be fully introduced to the game at a time when "the engine's performance and optimization is top notch," meaning it could be a while.

Japan may not see future tanks due to the limited amount of tanks they produced during the war. Furthermore, while Japanese and Chinese tank destroyers and SPGs may happen, they will not happen any time soon. However, by version 9.12, they plan to introduce Czechoslovakia as a new nation.
