Metal Gear Survive Overview
If Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain just evaporated into thin air and all soldiers on Mother Base were sucked into wormholes and transported to a zombie-filled island, where would that leave players? Right in the middle of Metal Gear Survive, an online co-op survival game which is the first game from Konami since the departure of Hideo Kojima. Form teams of four and learn to scavenge resources from the alien planet to survive. Wield various weapons, such as bows, guns, and spears. Mow down waves upon waves of blood-thirsty zombies. Master stealth gameplay mechanics to pave the way back home.

Metal Gear Survive is developed and published by Konami. It is the first Metal Gear game without Hideo Kojima and developers have said that it is a spin-off of Metal Gear Solid 5, taking place right before Metal Gear Solid: The Phanton Pain. Met with mixed reception, the game will be released in 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms.
