New World Overview

Explore the vibrant island of Aeternum and make a name for yourself in this open world PvP heavy MMO. New World features a unique classless progression system where players can level up every single weapon, resource gathering, and crafting single all on a single character. Choose from one of 3 factions and vie for control over territories on Aeternum in epic 50 vs 50 faction wars. Control over territory grants factions big benefits and allows players to set taxation rates in towns. While PvP is a core aspect of New World its entirely optional as players need to flag themselves to participate in open world PvP. Players are encouraged to do so as it grants them 10% bonus experience and the ability to complete rewarding PvP faction quests.

New World Key Features:

• Classless Progression – Each weapon type is leveled individually and has its own set of skills and talents. Weapon types: Swords, Rapiers, Hatchets, Spears, Great Axes, War Hammers, Bows, Muskets, Fire Staffs, Life Staffs, and Ice Gauntlets.
• Action oriented combat – Combat is action oriented with players being able to predict and dodge enemy attacks with skillful timing. Mix and match 2 weapon types for quick access to 2 different playstyles.
• Resource Gathering & Crafting – Level 7 unique crafting skills (Armoring, Arcana, Cooking, Engineering, Furnishing, Jewel crafting, and Weapon smithing) and 5 gathering skills (Fishing, Harvesting, Logging, Mining, and Skinning)
• Open World Exploration – Explore the island of Aeternum and find rare resources, enemies, and more. Everything in New World except for dungeons and housing takes place in a persistent open world.
• Territory Control PvP – PvP is a major part of New World. Choose from one of 3 factions: Syndicate, Marauders, and Covenant and participate in epic 50 vs 50 battles for control over territory in the game's persistent world. Players can only switch factions once every 120 days.
