Soldier Front is a realistic lobby-based MMO FPS that offers a variety of game modes including team battle, single battle, team death match, and clan battle, to name a few. Like Soldier Front 2. Soldier Front 1 shut down on January 29, 2016 from Aeria Games.

Development History / Background:
Soldier Front, called Special Force in Asia, was developed by South Korean game studio DragonFly, and was published by a variety of publishers globally, including Aeria Games in North America and Europe. The game was released in Korea on July 2004, where it boasted over 6 million active players. The game made it to North America in February 2007, originally hosted on the ijji game portal. After the acquisition of ijji by Aeria Games, Soldier Front moved to the Aeria Games portal. The game received a large graphical update in 2009 through a patch that the developers created to update the UI, reorganize weapons, and update the weapon graphics. A sequel called Soldier Front 2 was made in Unreal Engine 3 in 2013, and is available for play through Steam.
The North American version of Soldier Front 1 shut down on January 29, 2016.
