Tartaros Online Overview
Tartaros Online combines classic RPG storytelling with cooperative and competitive MMORPG game modes. Players create a custom party of 3 characters out of total of 9 that are unlocked through the singleplayer story mode. The main MMORPG component are instanced missions that can be done alone or with a group. These come in three flavors: Cooperative, Special, and Limited Mission. Tartaros s GamesCampus.
Tartaros Online Key Features
- Story Driven Gameplay - Explore of the story of each of the nine characters through the single player, story driven RPG Scenario Mode.
- Mission Mode - Complete instanced stages solo, or with a party of other players. Meet up in a persistent hub town to chat, trade, and form guilds.
- It Pays to PvP - Earn Training Points and Weapon Exp by competing in Battle Chaser or Team Battle PvP modes.
- Dynamic Maps - Maps are randomly generated to ensure a fresh experience for every mission run.
- Multi Character Control - Swap control between three characters while the AI controls the other two during battles.

Development History / Background:
Tartaros Online is developed by the South Korean studio Intivsoft and was originally released in 2009. The game set in Tarataros, the realm of the Gods, and centers around the 9 characters quest to obtain a magical substance called Obolus. Unique among MMORPGs, Tartaros Online includes a singleplayer game mode with a strong emphasis on story. Players unlock new characters as they progress through the singleplayer mode which they can then use in the mission and PvP modes. Tartaros launched as Tartaros Rebirth on October 29th, 2017 globally in English. The game was shut down on December, 2017.
