Destiny 2 Announces The Witcher Crossover Event And It’s ‘Biggest Sale Of The Year’

Bungie is tapping into The Witcher fanbase with a Destiny 2’s dwindling playerbase. The event kicks off alongside Season of the Wish on November 28th with exclusive The Witcher-inspired cosmetics up for grabs.

“Guardians can style themselves as monster slayers with new cosmetics inspired by Geralt of Rivia. The crossover includes armor ornaments, a Ghost shell, ship, Sparrow, emote, and finisher,” the studio announced.

The Bungie Store will also be running its “biggest sale of the year” starting on November 24th, offering a $7 flat rate on shipping fees for the US, UK, and EU. All content packs including Lightfall are also currently on sale at 67% off on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox until November 28th.

Whether the crossover event and content pack discounts will be enough to pull it out of its recent slump remains to be seen.
