EVE Online Updates Its In-Beta Launcher And Confirms The Return Of Winter Nexus
EVE Online didn’t do too well last quarter but it’s still business as usual over at C Games as it rolls out an update for the space MMO’s in-beta launcher. The new launcher version not only offers a sleeker and more modern look, it also touts new cutting edge security measures, better performance, a customizable interface, and other highly requested quality of life improvements.
Meanwhile, the team is preparing to bring back the Winter Nexus event on December 5th. The event will once again introduce icy space maelstroms across New Eden which will serve as limited-time combat, hacking, and harvesting sites. Players can also look forward to seasonal SKIN rewards, loot drops, goodies, and special buffs until the event comes to an end on January 4th.
Before that, players can look forward to the launch of the Havoc update on November 14th and the arrival of new playable pirate factions in the form of the Angel Cartel and the Guristas. You can brush up on the associated lore in the latest episode of the in-game news program, The Scope. You’ll find that embedded right down below.
