EVE Online Drops Havoc Expansion Notes Ahead Of Its Release Tomorrow
C Games has rolled out the official patch notes for EVE Online’s Havoc expansion in preparation for its launch early tomorrow morning. The highlight of the expansion, of course, is the ability to one of two pirate factions: the Angel Cartel and the Guristas Pirates.
The patch notes offer a detailed rundown of Havoc’s new gameplay mechanics and pirate activities, as well as the new ships and rewards that will be introduced in the expansion.
Players who plan on aligning themselves with either one of the new factions will need to above -2.0 standing with their faction of choice. They’re also advised to move their ships to the frontlines in preparation for the start of pirate raids. Those who’d rather hang back from the action can also the war effort by making sure that the mineral stockpiles are ready and that the supply lines are fully stocked with ships and modules.
The rest of the patch notes dives into new corporation-specific features like the option to take on corporation projects in a project management role. It also offers details on the different project types and the rewards that players will earn for taking them on. Players can also look forward to an updated AIR career path tutorial, opportunity adjustments, a bunch of visual and gameplay improvements, and more.
