Fallen Earth Classic Sees Highest Concurrent Players In 6 Years

Last weekend’s Fallen Earth Classic launch turned out to be more successful than Little Orbit had hoped as the revived servers saw its highest number of concurrent players since 2016.

“Congrats to the Fallen Earth players who chose to come out and celebrate Halloween,” tweeted Little Orbit CEO Matt Scott. “According to SteamCharts, [Fallen Earth Classic] had more players online at the same time than any time in the last six years!”

Concurrent players peaked at 240 players earlier today, which might not be a lot compared to other MMOs, but it’s still good news considering that the last time the game broke 200 players was in April 2016. Meanwhile, the team is still working on streamlining the whole player experience and possibly activating Commander status for all players.

For those who missed it, Matt Scott decided to relaunch the old Fallen Earth servers last Thursday as Fallen Earth Classic to give players something to do while waiting for the actual Fallen Earth reboot. Unfortunately, that’s still on the backburner until Little Orbit finishes their current projects.
