MapleStory Celebrates 19th Anniversary With Mayple Island Events And A Brand-New Class
Nexon is inviting players level 101 and above to make their way to Mayple Island where they’ll be able to take on daily quests, participate in mini-games and sub-events, and check-in daily to earn boosting coupons, event currency, and exclusive cosmetics, and event currency that can be used to power-up their character-boosting Mayple Crystals.
The anniversary update also replaced the Beast Tamer class with the Forest Child Lynn, an INT-based character who’s able to draw power from the forest to boost the stats of all nearby characters.
All Beast Tamers will automatically be converted to Lynn with all their character progress carrying over to the new class. Those who’ve completed the Beast Tamer’s 5th Job advancement will also need to complete a simplified version of the questline after the switch. Animal SP Reset Scrolls will also refunded at 1,000 Maple Points per scroll on Interactive Worlds and 10 million mesos per scroll on Heroic Worlds.
Nexon is also running a special event with special rewards, pet packages, and cosmetics up for grabs to celebrate Lynn’s official debut. You can head over to the MapleStory official site for more information on the anniversary event and the new class.
