PlanetSide 2 Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Update on November 20th

PlanetSide 2, one of the only real MMO FPS games, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an update on November 20th which includes a double XP weekend (from Nov 18-20 and Nov 25-27), graphical updates, balance changes, and more.

If you've never played PlanetSide 2, it's well worth checking. It's a unique game that features a massive persistent world where 3 factions vye for control over territory. Massive battles with a thousand or so players on the field at once is possible which results in total mayham.

The game averages ~1,400 players online at any given time on Steam alone, but is available off Steam and on PlayStation as well. Despite being 10 years old, PlanetSide 2 is still going strong.
