RuneScape’s Vorkath, Battle For Forinthry Update Promises Another Big Dragon Battle
Another ancient dragon is waiting to sow chaos in RuneScape with the arrival of the classic MMORPG’s Vorkath, Battle for Forinthry update later this month. As the title suggests, players will go toe to toe with the eponymous dragon and the necromancer Zemouregal as part of the ongoing Fort Forinthry questline.
“Our new quest and boss battle takes place during a siege of Fort Forinthry as you make a last stand against Zemouregal,” teased Jagex. “It will be down to you to beat back this undead siege - including facing down Zemouregal and Vorkath in a deadly duel.”
This new boss fight can be completed using any combat style in Story, Normal, and Hard mode, either solo or as a group. Ranged and Necromancy s will particularly benefit from defeating the diabolical duo as the encounter drops will be focused on the said combat styles. Note that you’ll need to have completed the Ancient Awakening quest in Fort Forinthry and reached level 60 in Necromancy to gain access to the new quest and encounter.
The update will also introduce a new event with new Necromancy cosmetics up for grabs. Players can also look forward to the reopening of the Christmas Village on November 27th. For now, a big dragon battle awaits when Vorkath, Battle for Forinthry drops on November 20th.
