Zems Kickstarter Begins

The Kickstarter for the "dynamic environment" online tactical strategy/card game hybrid, Zems, has launched following Saturday's successful alpha launch. The alpha is now open to everyone and there is a banner for it at the top of the campaign description. It is unknown at this time how long the alpha will be available, but it would be safe to assume that it will only be available to everyone for the duration of the Kickstarter.

Zems has a relatively modest goal of $40,000 and the majority of the rewards involve booster packs, additional deck slots, draft tickets, and exclusive art. All pledges over $10 include closed beta access, which will allow you to "start growing your collection before anyone else." The game will be free-to-play in the future and many of the rewards reflect that. At $1000, however, you will be able to create your own card, should you want to.
