Pan Studios has confirmed the final closed beta test for its hybrid action RPG Duet Night Abyss will run from June 12 to July 2, 2025 (UTC+8). The test arrives as pre-registrations sur 3 million globally, signaling strong interest in this cross-platform title (PC/mobile) ahead of its full release. A new trailer highlights fan-favorite characters Truffle and Filbert, teasing expanded storylines and combat mechanics for the beta.

The game blends fast-paced action with a dual-narrative structure, letting players experience interconnected storylines from two perspectives. Combat focuses on seamless weapon switching between melee and ranged options, as well as dynamic movement abilities like Helix Leap. This beta introduces the "Children From the Snowfield" chapter, featuring enhanced visuals and new playable characters.

Duet Night Abyss enters a crowded action-RPG space but distinguishes itself with its dual-narrative approach and flexible combat, drawing loose comparisons to titles like Honkai Impact 3rd and Punishing: Gray Raven.

While I'm not particularly excited for this one given its mobile nature, the trailers look incredible in of production value. It will also have a PC client, so I'll likely give it a chance.
