Wayfinder’s Mid-Season Update Adds New Quests, Live Event, And Juggernaut Weapon

It’s been two months since Wayfinder launched into early access and kicked off its inaugural season. With Season 1 well underway, Airship Syndicate has decided that it’s high time to introduce new content as the studio rolls out the action MMORPG’s first mid-season update.

The said update arrived earlier today with two new quests and a new live event called Call of the Void in tow. The event tasks players with investigating the strange rifts that have appeared across the game world to unlock its mysteries and surprises. As for the quests, one will send you off to confront a new fire elemental boss named Talon of Pyre, while the other will take you deep into Highland’s underground mines in search of a fearsome weapon called the Bloodbore.

The update also introduced a new two-handed weapon called the Juggernaut, a new dungeon, a new limited-time Lost Zone, and a long list of bug fixes. “Venture into the eerie depths of a new Lost Zone, Gloom Dungeon, and introduce foes to your newest friend, a weapon we are affectionately naming ‘Juggernaut’,” reads the patch notes on Discord. “Forged for the Balgrim Shaarak’uul in the Halls Below and claimed as spoils of war by the Archon Halavant. Few can withstand its crushing blows.”

Season 1 is expected to end and give way to Season 2 sometime this fall, so you better start milking it for all its worth.
