Legends of Aria Open Beta Begins in June, Early Access in July

Legends of Aria announced today that they'll begin open beta testing sometime in June with an Early Access beginning in July. The early access won't be on Steam though, that's set to happen later in Autumn. The final wipe for the game will happen in July and Kickstarters and Founders will begin their 1 week headstart before the game opens up to the public.

Legends of Aria was previously known as Shards Online. While the game's focus was once centered around created servers, called "shards", it now seems to be aiming to deliver a more traditional sandbox MMORPG experience. The player created servers should still be a part of the game, but I suspect it won't play as big of a role as originally intended.
