Improbable Will Be Shutting Down PvPvE Shooter Scavengers On December 16
Earlier this year, Improbable sold off Midwinter Entertainment to maintenance mode with only a small team of developers left behind to keep everything running.
Unfortunately, it looks like Scavengers won’t remain online for much longer as Improbable announces the imminent closure on December 16th. “The last few months have seen a decline in the playerbase, and whilst we explored many options to reinvigorate server population while the game is in early access, it became clear that it was unsustainable to continue development and live service,” announced the studio. “Your ion, dedication and for Scavengers has been nothing short of extraordinary. We thank you for taking this journey with us.”
The team is inviting players to jump back into the game a few more times before the game officially goes dark to give the game “the thrilling sendoff it deserves.”
